Os indicados ao 49º NAACP Image Awards foram divulgados na última segunda-feira. O prêmio é realizado pela National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), em português Associação Nacional para o Progresso de Pessoas de Cor.
Nas categorias de cinema a Universal Pictures lidera com 10 indicações, seguida pela Annapurna e a Open Road Films, que receberam 5 indicações cada. Nas categorias de Televisão a Netflix e a OWN lideram, com 23 e 17 indicações, respectivamente.
Anthony Anderson apresentará o NAACP Image Awards novamente, em cerimônia de premiação que acontece numa segunda-feira, dia 15 de Janeiro de 2018 – feriado de Martin Luther King nos Estados Unidos.
O NAACP Image Awards contempla uma variedade de mídias, porém aqui daremos foco às categorias de cinema, televisão e documentário.
