Os indicados ao 72º Primetime Emmy Awards

Os indicados ao 72º Primetime Emmy Awards foram anunciados nesta terça-feira, dia 28 de Julho.

A líder de indicações ao 72º Primetime Emmy Awards foi “Watchmen“, com 26 ao todo. Depois veio “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel“, com 20 indicações. Com 18 indicações ficaram “Ozark” e “Succession“. Três séries receberam 15 indicações cada, foram “The Mandalorian“, “Saturday Night Live” e “Schitt’s Creek“.

Com 13, 12 e 11 indicações, respectivamente, aparecem “The Crown“, “Hollywood” e “Westworld“. Com 10 indicações aparecem 3 séries, “The Handmaid’s Tale“, “Mrs. America” e “RuPaul’s Drag Race“. As demais séries receberam de 9 a uma solitária indicação cada.

O 72º Primetime Emmy Awards teve recorde de indicações para interpretes negros, sendo 35 de um total de 102 indicações de atuações este ano.

Entre as “emissoras”, a líder de indicações foi a Netflix, com 160 nomeações para suas produções. Perdendo terreno, depois veio a HBO, com 107 indicações. Com menos da metade dessas indicações, vem a terceira colocada e aparece a NBC com 47 indicações.

Com 36, 33 e 30 indicações aparecem, respectivamente, ABC, FX Networks e Prime Video. Já Hulu recebeu 26 indicações e a CBS 23. A estreante Disney+ aparece com 19 indicações, seguida pela também estreante AppleTV+ com 18 indicações. A Pop TV recebeu 16 indicações e a FOX um total de 15. A VH1 teve 13 indicações. As últimas a receberam uma dezena (10) de indicações cada foram a BBC America, Comedy Central e Quibi.

O 72º Primetime Emmy Awards será realizado no dia 20 de Setembro de 2020, com apresentação de Jimmy Kimmel.

Entretanto, devido a pandemia de Covid-19, não haverá público e apenas Kimmel e alguns apresentadores de determinadas categorias farão parte da cerimônia de premiação presencial, que não terá nem tapete vermelho. Assim, os indicados ao 72º Primetime Emmy Awards serão transmitidos, ao vivo, a partir do seu local de preferência (casa, jardim, hotel, etc). A ver como será o resultado final.
