Finalmente foram anunciados os indicados ao Oscar 2015, prêmio máximo do cinema americano. Na lista, destaca-se mais uma vez os então favoritos O Grande Hotel Budapeste, Birdman (Ou a Inesperada Virtude de Ignorância) e Boyhood, com respectivas 8 indicações ambos e 6. A surpresa ficou pela ovação a Sniper Americano, a esnobada praticamente total com Selma e a surpreendente nomeação de Marion Cotillard como atriz principal, deixando Jennifer Aninston para trás.
Os vencedores do Oscar 2015 serão anunciados em cerimônia no dia 22 de fevereiro, contando como apresentador o ator Neil Patrick Harris.
