O Primetime Emmy Awards 2020 finalmente aconteceu!
A cerimônia de premiação, com apresentação de Jimmy Kimmel, foi realizada de maneira toda diferente e histórica devido a Covid-19, na noite de Domingo, 20 de Setembro.
Na noite principal, os grandes vencedores do Primetime Emmy Awards 2020 foram “Schitt’s Creek“, que venceu TODAS as categorias de Comédia, “Succession” e “Watchmen“, que venceram 4 categorias cada. Com isso, a HBO levou a melhor, vencendo 11 categorias, seguida pela PopTV, com as 7 vitórias em comédia. A Netflix foi a última emissora a vencer múltiplas categorias, com 2 vitórias.
No geral do Emmy 2020, “Watchmen” foi a grande vencedora, com 11 categorias. Depois veio “Schitt’s Creek“, com 9. Já “Succession” e “The Mandalorian” levaram 7 categorias cada. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” e “Saturday Night Live” ganharam 6 categorias cada. Assim, as líderes de vitórias foram a HBO, com 30 categorias e a Netflix, com 21.
